Code of Conduct.
How we expect people to behave in Graphify spaces, and what happens when they do not.
Last updated: October 5, 2026
This is the code for everyone who takes part in the Graphify community. It sets the values we work by, the behavior expected in Graphify spaces, and how reports and enforcement work. By participating, you agree to abide by it.
It applies to Discord, GitHub repositories and discussions, community areas of this website, mailing lists, forums, official social accounts, project chats and calls, Graphify-hosted Events, and other spaces where this Code is expressly adopted.
It covers community members, contributors, maintainers, attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, organizers, moderators, partners, and Graphify staff when they are in those spaces.

Values
Collaboration first
The strongest work comes from partnership, shared knowledge, and a willingness to help. Constructive dialogue and the open exchange of ideas are part of taking part.
Empathetic problem solving
Approach technical problems and disagreements with an effort to understand the other person, whatever their background, experience, or technical stance. Guidance and feedback should be patient and useful.
Trust and transparency
Be open about goals, honest about limits, and act with integrity. Trust in this community comes from that.
Continuous learning
Questions are welcome. People should be able to learn, share what they know, and grow.
Responsible innovation
As people who build and use technology, including AI, consider the effect of the work. Safety, fairness, privacy, and accountability come before a clever result.
Expected behavior
- Treat people with respect and patience, especially people who are new.
- Keep communication clear, honest, and appropriate for a professional community.
- Disagree about ideas and work without attacking the person.
- Give constructive feedback in good faith, and be considerate of other people's time.
- Be mindful of different cultures, languages, communication styles, and experience levels.
- Respect personal boundaries, privacy, consent, and reasonable requests to stop.
- Keep commitments you make to the community, and take ownership of your contributions.
- Credit other people's work.
- Follow reasonable instructions from moderators, Event organizers, venue staff, and platform administrators.
- Ask before using another person's machine, account, repository, private workspace, or screen.
- Take responsibility for what you post, including AI-assisted content.
- Do not present a personal opinion or generated response as an official Graphify statement unless it is one.
Not allowed
- Harassment, threats, intimidation, stalking, slurs, hate speech, or discrimination, including on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic.
- Sexualized language or imagery, inappropriate physical contact, unwelcome advances, or unwanted sexual or physical attention.
- Insults, personal attacks, bullying, coercion, deliberate humiliation, or sustained hostile behavior.
- Publishing or exposing another person's private information, credentials, private repository content, or confidential material without permission.
- Recording or sharing another person's private conversation, workspace, machine, or screen without permission.
- Sustained disruption of a talk, call, chat, repository, Event, project, or another team's work.
- Attempts to interfere with Graphify systems, community platforms, or another participant's accounts or devices.
- Promoting or facilitating harmful, malicious, or illegal uses of technology or AI, including malware, denial-of-service, unethical data scraping, or tools for exploitation.
- Unsolicited or repeated recruiting, sales, fundraising, or promotional messages, particularly in private messages or after someone asks for them to stop.
- Impersonating another person, falsely claiming to represent Graphify, or evading a moderation decision through another account.
- Retaliation against someone for making or helping with a good-faith report.
- Other conduct that would reasonably be inappropriate in a professional community.
If you are asked to stop behavior that violates this Code, stop immediately.
Good-faith disagreement, criticism, technical debate, and discussion of difficult subjects are not violations by themselves. They must still remain respectful, relevant, and focused on the work.
Responsible technology
Technical discussion, including debugging, security, and AI, should stay constructive and consider the effect of the technology.
Report a vulnerability to the project maintainers or through the security page. Do not disclose it publicly in a way that lets someone exploit it.
Online and at Events
The same standards apply in Discord, GitHub, video calls, project chats, Event platforms, Event venues, official social activities, and other spaces reasonably connected with a Graphify project or Event.
Official Event registration, admission, safety, photography, recording, cancellation, and refund practices are governed by the Event Terms & Conditions.
Participants taking photographs or recordings must follow Event and venue notices, respect no-recording rules, and respect reasonable requests from other participants. Do not use photographs or recordings to harass someone, expose private information, or misrepresent what happened.
When an Event includes a hackathon, build challenge, track, competition, submission, or prize, the Graphify Challenge Rules also apply.
Reporting
Report a concern by emailing fahad@graphify.com, or by telling a Graphify team member, moderator, or Event organizer. A report may concern something that happened to you or something you witnessed.
Where possible, include:
- what happened
- when and where it happened
- relevant messages, links, or screenshots
- the names of any witnesses
- any immediate safety concern
Only share information you are comfortable providing.
Graphify will review reports as promptly and fairly as reasonably possible. Information will be limited to the people who need it to review the report and respond. Reporter, witness, and participant privacy is protected as far as reasonably possible. Complete confidentiality cannot be guaranteed where disclosure is reasonably necessary to address a safety risk, investigate fairly, or comply with the law.
Graphify will not retaliate against anyone who makes or helps with a good-faith report.
If the concern involves someone who normally receives reports, contact another Graphify founder, team member, moderator, or Event organizer and ask for the report to be escalated.
For an immediate safety risk, contact venue security or local emergency services. A Graphify team member or Event organizer may help someone contact the appropriate service.
Enforcement
Moderators and community leads uphold this Code. Graphify considers the nature, severity, context, impact, and pattern of the conduct, and applies a response fairly and consistently.
Possible actions include:
- Removing or editing content
- Asking someone to stop
- Giving a private or formal warning
- Restricting contact with another participant
- Limiting access to a channel, repository, platform, or activity
- Temporarily suspending participation
- Permanently removing someone from Graphify community spaces
- Removing someone from an Event, or refusing admission to a future Graphify Event
- Withdrawing moderator, organizer, speaker, sponsor, or community privileges
- Contacting a platform operator, venue, security team, or appropriate authority where reasonably necessary
Graphify does not have to apply these actions in order. Serious conduct may result in immediate removal or a permanent ban.
For an independently organized Event, the organizer may separately take action under its own policies. Graphify may still restrict access to Graphify spaces, activities, roles, support, or future Events.
Updates
Graphify may update this Code as the community and its spaces evolve. The current version is this page, with its Last updated date. Significant changes will be communicated so people can see the current standards.
