Graphify has passed 125,000 GitHub stars on Graphify-Labs/graphify. On 12 October 2026 the public count stood at 125,736. The repository has also been forked more than 12,000 times.

Star history for Graphify-Labs/graphify, charted by star-history.com.
The first commit was 5 April. We wrote about 100,000 GitHub stars in August, 117 days after that commit, and last week about passing 8 million PyPI downloads. The chart is that same stretch: a steep April, then a steady climb through October.
People star the repository when the command is useful. Type /graphify in your assistant and a map of the codebase comes back in about thirty seconds, parsed on the machine with tree-sitter. That is the check. The star count is what shows up afterward.

The principles from the first weekend are the same ones in the 100,000-star post.
- Code is parsed on your machine, from the files in the repository.
- Every relationship is tagged
EXTRACTEDorINFERRED, so you can see what was read from the source and what Graphify resolved. - The result is a graph you can query and walk, from one function to the next.
- Install is two commands. The run is one.
The project is Apache 2.0. That stays.
Work this sits onLink to Work this sits on
- tree-sitter turns source into the syntax tree that every code edge starts from.
- Leiden community detection is how a repository splits into the subsystems on the graph.
- Model Context Protocol is how an assistant calls that graph.
- uv is why the install is short.
Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI, and Copilot are the assistants people run this in. The map is the part we maintain.
To everyone who starred the repository, opened an issue, sent a pull request, answered a question, or wrote about Graphify: thank you.
The open-source project stays open source. Graphify Cloud is the always-on version of the same map, kept current for the code, docs, and meetings you already work in.
Thanks for the stars.
